HP is preparing to sell the device come September for €699, but that’s not all. HP also plans to release a rugged case to protect the device from scratches and other problems that can cause damage to the surface of the smartphone, according to the French website The Windose. We doubt the case will come bundled with the phone, so expect to purchase it separately. The HP Elite x3 is a powerful Windows 10 Mobile device and the first to be released in many months when it goes on sale this September. It rocks a Snapdragon 820 processor and a great looking 5.96-inch WQHD AMOLED display. There’s also 64GB of internal memory and 4GB of RAM ro help with speed, multitasking, and Continuum. The HP Elite x3 has a 16MP shooter with an 8MP front-facing camera for taking selfies and making the occasional video call. To make things even more interesting, the Elite x3 comes packed with a fingerprint and iris scanner for security purposes. We expect these features to lock and unlock the smartphone, but not at the same speed as jotting down a regular password.
