We all know what Microsoft announced at Build in terms of future Windows 10 Mobile releases. While there’s nothing in store for this year, new devices are being prepared for 2017, which might make the Lumia 650 the last ARM-powered smartphone that Microsoft brings to the market. So, is the Lumia 650 a good choice considering these aspects? Well, it might be — but only if you aren’t expecting too much from it. The Lumia 650 is great as a backup phone. Its performance is dated though it looks far more appealing than what we have on the Lumia 640, a phone similar in terms of hardware performance and which can be bought through more affordable offers (like from AT&T for only $30 while the unlocked / SIM-free version priced at $65). However, with the Lumia 650 you get a better build quality and extra storage space. Other specs include a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB on built-in storage capacity, micro SD card slot, and Windows 10 Mobile right of the box. There, the unlocked version is only $199.00 (USD and CAD). It’s an affordable price especially if we keep in mind the $600 threshold set for the Lumia 950 and 950 XL (However, both devices come with better performance and with more premium materials, though). So, what do you think, is the Lumia 650 the perfect device for you? Or would you rather choose something better instead?
