This system is the most effective with video playback. For example, if you’re watching a movie with the Windows 10 Movies app, you can switch to another app and you’ll still be able to see the playback in the top right corner of the screen. This is a well-known feature for Android users who can use it in YouTube’s official app. However, Microsoft is the first developer that implements such a feature in its operating system. Compact Overlay is, for now, available to Insiders on the Fast Ring running at least Windows 10 build 15031. However, it will surely be released to the general public with the Creators Update for Windows 10 this April. What do you think about Compact Overlay for Windows 10?
