Windows 10 version 1507 will cease to receive Microsoft’s monthly security updates

Microsoft is about to start reminding users of this version that it’s time to update. There were very many malware attacks recently and this might be one of the reasons for which Microsoft is aiming to get as many users as possible to update their operating system. The latest version of Windows 10 is the most secure and safest version there is. For now, this is the Windows 10 Creators Update. Soon, Windows 10 Fall Creators Update will be pushed out. John Cable, Microsoft’s Director of Program Management, Windows Servicing and Delivery stated that the first version of Windows 10 has reached end-of-service. This means that users will be able to continue using this version but won’t receive monthly security updates. Microsoft will begin sending notifications tousers if their devices need to be updated to the latest version. The company says that to keep receiving security updates and to stay safe, you have to get the most recent version of Windows 10. We are sure that there will be only a small number of users who will choose to stick with the first version of Windows 10 for one reason or another. Theseusers will hope that Microsoft’s reminders will not be very frequent and that the company won’t be nagging them all day long to upgrade. RELATED STORIES TO CHECK OUT:
