Yahoo silently removes its first-party Mail app for Windows users

Of course, you can still configure the Windows 8 Mail app to work with your Yahoo account, while for Messenger, but I’m not sure if it can meet the performance of a first party release. But, my best guess is that this is a temporary situation and Yahoo will come up with an official explanation. If not, then this move is a little puzzling. Microsoft is already working on Windows 10, which will sport some nice features that will make Windows 7 and Windows XP users upgrade to it. Therefore, I don’t see why Yahoo! would pull its app from the Windows Store, taking into account the fact that it looked and behave pretty professional.
