You cannot afford to ignore the high-priority notifications so Microsoft is testing a new way in how they will show up. The Redmond giant is focusing on Windows 11 user experience with notifications and how to display them.

Stacked notifications

If the test passes and is released to the public, high-priority notifications will now be stacked. In the latest preview build to Insiders in the Dev Channel, the notifications are delivered while stacked. Three high-priority notifications will be stacked because they contain information that Windows 11 users have to act on promptly. According to Microsoft;

Roll out will be in phases

Given that this is a test, Microsoft will be rolling out this feature in phases starting with the Windows Insiders on the Dev Channel.  Even on the Dev Channel, not everyone will be getting the feature because Microsoft wants to collect as much feedback as possible before confirming broad availability. There is no official release date on when the testing will be done or when the feature will go up live but we can only wait and see. What do you think of Microsoft’s plan to stack up high-priority notifications when displayed? Let us know in the comment section below.
